Sweet and Sour Chicken with Rice

One of Tyson's TOP 5 Recipes!
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2 inch pieces
2 dashes garlic powder
2-3 eggs
cornstarch

Mix eggs and garlic powder in a bowl. Put cornstarch in another bowl. Dip chicken pieces in cornstarch, then in egg and fry until browned slightly-not necessarily all the way cooked. Put into 8x8 baking dish.

Sauce:
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water or pineapple juice from tidbits
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 dash salt
1 can pineapple tidbits
1 green pepper pieces (optional)

Mix all ingredients (except pineapple tidbits) together and pour over chicken in baking dish. Bake at 350 for 1 hour, stirring about every 15 minutes or so. Cook uncovered and add pineapple last 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
