Sour Cream Potatoes

1 bag frozen hash browns (32 oz)- chunk type
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 lb (16 oz) sour cream
1, 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 medium chopped onion
OR
1/2 cup chopped green onion
bread crumbs (crushed ritz crackers)

Mix hash browns, soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of the grated cheese, and the green onion. Put in 9x13 pan. Cover with 1/2 cup grated cheese then top with bread crumbs. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees till heated through. Should take about 35-40 minutes.
