Shepherds Pie


1 lb ground beef
1 small onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded Colby or Medium Cheddar Cheese
instant or mashed potatoes (sometimes I will use left over real mashed potatoes)

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Brown ground beef with onion, drain and rinse. Add cream of mushroom soup. Cover greased bottom of 9x13 pan (or 9x9 depending on how much mashed potatoes you have) with meat mixture. Add potatoes on top. Then layer with shredded cheese. Bake 30 min at 350 degrees.
